As an Emergency Management Agency our department needs a reliable solution 24/7 365 days a year, and 4Smartphone has done just that. When we have had issues they have worked very quickly to resolve the issues and got us back up and running.

I would suggest 4Smartphone to any Government Agency that does not have the means to have their own Exchange Service and needs one.

At the recommendation of a colleague, Topps turned to 4SmartPhone, a Phoenix, Arizona–based mobility solution provider, for help meeting the communication and data transmission needs of NOSM’s students, residents, and staff. 4SmartPhone helped the e-Learning Unit move to a solution based on hosted Microsoft® Exchange Server, as well as Windows Mobile® smartphones.

I do my own scheduling, saving thousands of dollars a year without having to use a receptionist. I can enter my appointments into Outlook, using either my IPhone or any computer connected to the internet. With each entry, my schedule is automatically updated immediately. Since I carry my phone everywhere, I can check my schedule at any time. For example, if I am at the grocery store and a patient needs an emergency appointment, I can immediately call back with my availability. It is efficient for both myself and for my patients.

I am able to receive emergency notifications from voicemail over email. The email will alert me to the presence of a routine message versus one that needs immediate attention. It is a great way to manage time efficiently as I only check voicemail when I know there is a message waiting. I also know whether to check voicemail immediately or if it can wait until later in the day. If I have gone through email on my phone between patient appointments, the email on my laptop/home computer/etc is automatically updated as well. This saves time as I don't have to clear out email more than once! It helps keep things streamlined not only in the "inbox" but in my mind too!

Through the contacts menu, I can keep my patients' demographic information at hand on my IPhone. To ensure security, the phone is password protected. If I ever need to call in a prescription at night or on a day I am not in the office, I can access their pharmacy information from my phone. If I ever were to lose my phone, 4smartphone can immediately delete all of the information on the phone, thus doubly ensuring my patient's privacy. If I found the phone, the information can be put back into the phone, or it could be put into a second, new phone. Thus, even with an event that could potentially send a practice into chaos, with 4smartphone, I wouldn't miss a beat!

Other providers, unlike 4SmartPhone, have not really seen the benefit that a small user can have in having access to information, and provisioning it in a no fuss, cost effective manner.

I looked at so many accounts that had a 5 user minimum or wanted to charge almost as much again for push email (same price for WM5, Blackberry and other push solutions) that finding 4SmartPhone has been an absolute godsend (and one of my clients is now giving me no end of grief why I didn’t do it a year ago!
